Craig's story was featured on MTV's True Life: I Need A Transplant. Thousands of patients with leukemia and other life-threatening diseases need life-saving bone marrow transplants, but more than 70% don't have a match in their family. Please consider becoming a registered donor to help someone like Craig!
Bone marrow donors are desperately needed nationwide. Please consider becoming a registered bone marrow donor. You can read more at the FAQ on the National Marrow Donor Program's website.

Hey Craig! Sounds like you’re quite the celebrity. On the serious side, I wonder if you know how many lives you are actually touching and giving support to?! You rock kid! We met with Dr. Gejewski today. We have a lot to think about. I’ll update when my mind stops swirling. You’re both in my thoughts and prayers. Stay strong.
Hey,
I’m just writing because I was diagnosed with AML the same time you were, I was 26. I saw your episode while I was in the hospital because of a relapse. It was really scary but made me feel so much better watching you and seeing that things might be ok. Today I am +28 days from my own transplant and so far so good. Anyway, I just wanted you to know that your episode helped me make it through my own transplant process. So thanks.
Hey Craig,
I am in middle school and saw the episode of true life about you. It was seriously so touching and inspirational. I will be praying for you to completely heal. God is good! Your story has inspired and touched so many people, keep fighting through this! Remember our god is a god of miracles!! God bless
Hi Craig,
I saw your True Life episode when it first aired, after a friend of mine told me what it was about. (I don’t generally watch MTV.) I had a BMT in 2006 when I was 24 for a rare bone marrow disease, and though my situation was nowhere the severity of yours, I can relate to a little of your struggle. And I know that you are one tough cookie.
You are truly an inspiration and I plan to bookmark your blog so that I can follow your progress. Take care! I’m sending you good vibes as you read this.
Dear awesome people,
! It’s strange how I don’t know you and you made one of the biggest emtional impact Ive had. Your wife and you are purely amazing!!!
I saw your story on Mtv and was extremly touched. I couldn’t help but be emotional watching your struggles and will keep you in my prayers. In the end, it will be okay and if its not okay its not the end
Craig and Kat your story touched my life so much. As I cried when I saw your story my 3 yr old daughter said “mom why are you crying” I told her that about one yr. ago she was very sick like you Craig. Seeing your story reminded me when my daughter had pnemonia and renal faiure.
Craig I thought that was the end of it.
But I had to plead and repent and ask God to interveen and heal her sick body. Doctors gave us a 5% chance of survival. God healed her completely and the doctors were surprized. They told us that her healing was a true miracle.
Stay strong belive in God that he is the only one that has the power to heal you.. Remember he made you he knows you best. I will be praying for you.
Craig, I just watched your episode of True Life( went though quite a few tissues). I am praying for you. You are such a strong person!! Your wife is beautiful. I saw your true life today and It really made me think. Im in high school and everything seems like the end of the world but seeing you fight made me see how my problems that seem so big are really so small. Thanks for being a great role model, keep pushing through and fight with everything you have! You have alot of people rooting for you!
P.S. Remember that everything happens for a reason and God has a plan for you, and clearly part of his plan is have YOU touch so many peoples lives in such an inspirational way <3

Dear Craig,
Go to my niece’s Caringbridge page – http://www.caringbridge.org/tx/oliviajones. Read it and keep the faith. Over the past year we have almost lost her four times – but with our faith and trust in God and the fact she is now treating with doctors at MD Anderson in Houston, she is still with us. She is our miracle and you will be one too! Keep asking questions. Do whatever you have to do to fight this cancer, even if it means changing doctors and travelling to another hospital. STAY STRONG – DO NOT GIVE UP !!
Don’t give up!
Even if it’s bad news, even if it seems too much to handle, don’t give up on life! Your story and strength is changing lives.
You are so strong and courageous. You and you wife!
Live everyday to the fullest as long as you can.
I wish you the best of luck.
Sending you and yours all the love I can!
Leila

Saying a prayer for you and your family. I just watched your story on True Life and it broke my heart. You are a fighter and I hope you continue to stay strong and positive. You already have won part of the battle by sharing your story and spreading awareness. I lost my grandmother to Leukemia 4 years ago and I can only hope that one day they will find a cure for this horrible disease. Keep your chin up because you will make it through this.
I was really was crying when you were on true life. I hope you get better soon and I hope you finally get back to normal were you can spend more time with your family. I am keeping your family and u in my prayers. I lost a very close good friend in 2003 by lemunkia and I will never forget the times I got to spend with him before he died. I alway told him to never give up so please never give either.
